1. What does WeSettle provide?
WeSettle allows micro-businesses and SMEs to make payment for their supplier invoice/payroll/rental/utility bills using their credit cards.
2. Who can I pay using WeSettle Pay On Behalf Of services?
You can make payment to your local supplier, landlord, corporate utility bills and corporate payroll of your own company.
3. What types of cards are accepted on WeSettle?
Visa and Mastercard only.
4. Can I make my payment via online or offline?
Yes you may make your payment via online and offline.
5. How do I know if my recipient has received my money?
WeSettle User and the recipient will receive an email notification.
6. How do I check the status of the payment that I have made?
You may login to WeSettle user portal to check and there are 3 types of status being shown - Success, Failed, Processing, Pending, Cancelled.
7. How long will the recipient receive the payment?
Recipients will receive the payment after 3 working days from the payment initiate date (before 6pm) and 4 working days (after 6pm)
8. How does WeSettle process the payroll for my company?
For Payroll payment kindly fill up the WeSettle Payroll Form accordingly.
9. What type of supporting documents is required by WeSettle?
Payment to Local Supplier - Official Invoice
Payment to Landlord - Tenancy Agreement
Payment to Utility Bills - Utility bills
Payment to Company Payroll - Latest EPF Employee Statement
10. Is it safe to use WeSettle?
WeSettle does not store any card information and only works only with PCI-Certified payment gateway partners.
11. What is the benefit of using WeSettle?
WeSettle users are able to extend their company cash flow by using their credit card to make payment by at least 30 to 55 days.
Example
If your credit card billing starts on 1/1/2023 and end on 31/1/2023 the card issuer will normally provide an additional 15-25 days interest free period (depending on card issuer) if no payment is made after that then you will be charged with a late payment fee by your card issuer.
12. Is WeSettle regulated by Bank Negara?
At the moment WeSettle's business model is not required to be regulated with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) but rest assured as we are operating in Malaysia via partnerships with registered payment service providers regulated under BNM.
13. What is the standard handling fee that WeSettle charges?
WeSettle charges 2.2% per transaction for online transactions and 1.88% for offline transactions.
